On the weekend of April 17, 18 we saw the begging of the bodybuilding season in UK, not even week after first gyms were opened in England.

On the third rescheduled dates The Kingdom Classic and Ryan Terry Classic took place in Braywick Leisure Centre Maidenhead, England on south western bank of the River Thames. Due to still ongoing restrictions events organised by 2 Bros Pro Events under NPC Worldwide took place in the outside tent. That didn’t stop athletes traveling from as far as Northern Ireland to showcase their physiques often grafted in past few months at homemade gyms.

Despite no audience allowed their friend and families could watch the event on live stream.

The Kingdom Classic show started with Men`s Bodybuilding, on Saturday outstanding was Marcel Vormawah on his return to stage since 2018 he won ahead of other contenders in what probably was most interesting class – the Light Heavies 2nd was Ross Kerr and  3rd place went to Brian Wardy and 4th Alex Lord.

Heavyweight went to Aurimas Rimkevicius.

Super heavy weigh won Mickael Boinot ahead of Ryan Mackins.

It was Marcel who brought most complete physique and at the end took the Overall trophy.

Same schedule had Ryan Terry Classic on Sunday, many of the athletes who did Saturday also turn up on Sunday.

That day seven competitors stepped in Light Heavies in the absence of Marcel the spotlight went onto Jordan Gomes who took that title 2nd again was Ross Kerr and 3rd was Sirtaj Rahman.

Some of the other competitors included Cameron Brown, Brian Wardy, Eamon Doherty who did Classic day before.

Heavyweight title got Ciaran Cooley.

In Super Heavies we had two well-known in British bodybuilding names battling out Lewis Breed and Richard Godecki, it was Lewis who got 1st place ahead of Rich.

And it was Lewis who got overall in very close call ahead of Jordan Gomes, both had very good physiques yet vet different which certainly wasn’t easy to decide by judges.

Classic Physique:

Double Classic overall snatched Abou Kanat the result speak for himself and we will certainly see him chasing the Pro card soon.

Worthy mention physique is Josh Eastham who I believe won his classes on both days.

Men’s Physique:

With number of classes and winners throughout the shows I can only confirm, that on Saturday Overall winner was Curtis Stevens.

And on Sunday Overall trophy went to Luke Hillyard.

Moving on to the ladies overall winners.

Figure:

Amy Harris Figure was another double overall winner that weekend.

Women`s Physique:

Rachael Okeefe won Womens Physique on Saturday.

Deborah Baker won that category on Sunday.

Bikini:

On Saturday Dominika Blonska won junior, open and overall.

Whereas on Sunday Rachel Kayser won first timers, open and overall.

Wellness:

That leave us with newest category and certainly one with growing popularity wellness overall title on Saturday has been won by Lindsey King.

(Sara Harvey won Masters over 35s )

And Victoria Vzvodnaya won Overall on Sunday.

This article was written as usual, based on info gathered on social media, I have to apologise that so very little I can write here especially about female classes.
